Care and safety

Information and reminders, not medical advice

Dosely helps you understand your medications and remember to take them. It is not a substitute for professional care, and it never changes your dose or tells you to start or stop a medication.

What Dosely is

Information and reminders, always

Dosely reads a medication name or a label photo, explains in plain language what that medication is generally for and the common side effects worth knowing, builds a reminder schedule around the times you already take it, and flags possible interactions to review with your pharmacist. That is the whole scope of the product.

It is information and organization support. It is not a licensed prescriber, it is not a pharmacist, and it does not know your full medical picture. Anything about your treatment, your dose, or a concern you have should go to your pharmacist or doctor.

Dosely is information and reminders, not medical advice. It never changes your dose. Confirm anything about your medications with your pharmacist or doctor.

If something is wrong, get help right away

If you have concerning symptoms, a suspected overdose, or a reaction that worries you, get help right away. In the United States call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222, or call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

  • Poison Control (US): 1-800-222-1222
  • Emergency services: 911
  • Or go to: the nearest emergency room

What Dosely never does

The bright line is enforced in code, not trusted to the model. Every free-text field the model returns is checked before it is shown, and anything that reads like a dose or an instruction to change a medication is dropped.

  • Provide, suggest, confirm, or change a dose or a quantity
  • Tell you to start, stop, skip, or adjust a medication
  • Present an interaction finding as a clinical decision, only as something to review with your pharmacist
  • Tell you what a medication is for in your specific situation
  • Override guidance from your prescriber or pharmacist
  • Substitute for professional care when something is wrong

Your health data is yours

Medication information is sensitive. Here is how Dosely handles it, in plain terms.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Your medication names and information are transmitted over TLS and stored encrypted by our database provider. They are never shared with another user and never posted anywhere public.

Not used to train any model

Your medication data is sent to a model provider only to produce your plain-language information, under agreements that prohibit training on that traffic. We do not use it to train anything.

Export your list at any time

Your medication list is yours. Export it from Settings as a clean file to share at appointments or keep for your own records. No request needed and no waiting.

Delete anything, anytime

Delete any single medication from its card, or delete your whole account from Settings. Both are immediate. Deleted data is removed from our database and will not appear in backups after thirty days.

Dosely is information and reminders, not medical advice. It never tells you to start, stop or change a medication or a dose, and it always routes decisions and any interaction concern to your pharmacist or doctor.
