Your data
Your medications and reminders are yours
What Dosely stores
When you create an account, Dosely stores your email address, your name, and the plan you are on. That is the account record.
When you add a medication, Dosely stores the name you entered or the name it read from the label photo, the plain-language explanation, the list of common side effects, and the reminder schedule you have set for it. That is the medication record. It is tied to your account and is not visible to anyone else.
When you log a check-in or note against a medication, that record is also stored against your account.
Label photos are not stored after the medication name is read from them.
Dosely does not store payment card details. If you subscribe, Stripe handles the card and we receive only a token reference.
How your data is used
Your medication names are sent to a model provider to produce the plain-language information, and for nothing else. The providers we use operate under agreements that prohibit using that traffic to train their models.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it to train anything. Your medication list stays in your account and the explanations are produced on demand.
We may use aggregate, anonymized information about how people use Dosely to improve the product, for example which steps take longest or which features people use most. Nothing in that analysis is tied to a specific person.
How to export your data
Your medication list can be exported from Settings as a clean file to share at appointments or keep for your own records.
To export your full account data, go to Settings and choose Export my data. We will email you a file within one business day.
If you need a specific format or have a question about what the export contains, email privacy@mydosely.tech and we will sort it out.
How to delete a single medication
Open any medication from your list and choose Delete. This removes the name, the plain-language information, the reminder schedule, and any check-ins for that medication from our database. It cannot be undone.
Deleting one medication does not affect your account or your other medications.
How to delete your account
Go to Settings and choose Delete my account. This removes your account record, all of your medications, all reminders, and all data tied to your account from our database. The deletion runs immediately.
If you are on a paid plan, deleting your account ends the subscription. You will not be charged again, and you are not entitled to a refund for the current period under our terms. If you have a question about a refund in specific circumstances, email support@mydosely.tech before deleting.
Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.
What happens after deletion
Your data is removed from our active database immediately. Backups are retained for up to thirty days and then overwritten. Your data will not appear in any backup after thirty days from deletion.
If we are required by law to retain a specific record, we will tell you. This would not affect your medication list.
Questions about data handling can be sent to privacy@mydosely.tech. The Privacy page explains the full legal picture.
To export or delete, go to Settings. The Privacy policy is the complete legal version. The Security page covers how the data is stored and protected. Questions go to privacy@mydosely.tech.
